Facts about the DINGO 2 PSYOPS
Designed as a speaker carrier, this version of the DINGO 2 was specifically developed for the loudspeaker platoons of operative information units. These groups’ mission includes using communicative means to mediate with conflict parties and inform the population in the deployment area of events and more, thereby breaking down prejudices and correcting misinformation.
The DINGO 2 PSYOPS is equipped with an elevating speaker which can disseminate targeted information from a stationary position over a distance of up to one kilometre. In addition, a speaker system is integrated on the roof, via which the three-man crew can communicate with the immediate environment from within the vehicle whilst driving.
High performance capability – Low life-cycle costs – Easy maintenance
As a highly modern wheeled vehicle, the DINGO 2 is not only ideally equipped for diverse mission profiles and extreme terrain conditions, but also for a long and cost-effective service life. The militarised Unimog chassis reduces training and instruction effort for drivers and mechanics. The low-maintenance, robust diesel engine is also an economic advantage. Furthermore, the KNDS Deutschland customer service offers worldwide vehicle service – even directly in the deployment zone – and assists in spare part supply. This ensures that vehicles will be able to deliver their full performance at all times.
