Facts about the DINGO 2 HD Ambulance Vehicle
Medics’ most important tasks include the fastest possible rescue of wounded soldiers on the battlefield, performing first-aid, and then providing suitable medical care. In doing so, they often risk their own lives under enemy fire.
The various ambulance versions of the DINGO 2 make a decisive contribution towards improving protected casualty transport.
Based on the DINGO 2 HD 4x4 chassis, the ambulance vehicles are adapted to the respective customer’s requirements and reflect the various strategies for rescuing and caring for casualties. The Ambulance Vehicles and other members of the DINGO family have the same level of protection and mobility as comparable combat vehicles, both on difficult terrain and under adverse combat conditions.
Furthermore, all Ambulance Vehicles are designed with a continuous safety cell to facilitate communication between the driver and medical area, provide the crew in the rear with orientation through the large windscreen and enable easy access from one area to the other.
The DINGO 2 HD 4x4 Ambulance also has a rear ramp which opens over the entire width of the vehicle, enabling comfortable, independent loading of casualties.
